چکیده
Spondylolysis is aunilateral or bilateralanatomical defect of pars interarticularis vertebral arch and commonly occurs at L5-S1 level (85-95%) L4-5level (5-15%). It one the most common causes lower back pain (LBP), prevalent in approximately 6% population can progress to spondylolisthesiswhich turn cause radiculopathy. Although majority patients may remain asymptomatic, symptomatic early stages usually benefit from conservative treatment. Hence, identification very important multidetector CT (MDCT) scan sensitive technique diagnose spondylolysis spondylolisthesis. The prevalence long-term prognosis still not known context Nepal. This study aims find out incidental lumbosacral on inNepalese population. Cross-sectional descriptive studydata was collected 2629 abdomen pelvis performed during four half year’s period Nepal Medical College Teaching Hospital. Presence evaluated multiplanar volumetric images. Associated feature like spondylolisthesis also noted. Data obtained compiled analyzed using Statistical Package Social Services – 20 (SPSS-20). Out total patients, 1135 were males (43.1%) 1494 females (56.9%). Youngest 14 year oldest 102 old. There linear positive relation between age frequency spondylolysis. Incidental seen 146 with overall 5.5%. which 71 6.2 % 75 5.0 prevalence.Females nearly equally affected as males. Frequency more below 60 (57.5%) compared above group (42.5%). Commonest location level, 134 (91.8%) followed by L4-L5 8 (5.5 %) both levels 4 (2.7 %). Spondylolisthesis 43 (29.5 spondylolysis, 15 (34.9%) 28 (65.1%). In presence had statistically significant than (p value<0.05). it concur that established literatures. However, this shows are only slightly less unlike shown previous studies.

BACKGROUND AND AIM: The present study aimed to assess the nature and prevalence of incidental findings in cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) images of oral and maxillofacial patients. METHODS: In this cross-sectional study, 773 CBCT samples were retrieved from archives of a private oral and maxillofacial radiology center. Any findings that were not related to the reason of CBCT request was re...

A 53 year old female was referred for computed tomography (CT) angiogram of the abdomen and pelvis to evaluate the deep inferior epigastric artery perforators prior to breast reconstruction surgery. (Figure 1A & 1B). The CT angiogram revealed a beaded appearance of the left external iliac artery. There was no significant stenosis or aneurysm of the artery. The remaining major arteries of the ab...
